In recent years, Cerulean has launched several Quantum Neo shelves with automatic self calibration capabilities. This includes shelves A and J, as well as shelf X, with plans to launch more shelves in the future.
Automatic calibration is a very useful attribute that works in the background when the shelf is idle. Depending on the type of shelf, the self calibration program takes a few seconds and will immediately interrupt once measurement begins.
For example, X-shelf uses an internal standard of 50g and can be accessed at pre-defined intervals through control software.
A-frame usually requires at least half an hour of internal PD standard adaptation to stabilize. Then, when the instrument is idle, automatic calibration will be performed regularly.
In addition to frame A, frame J also has a 50% ventilation standard to provide the third calibration data point required for precise curve ventilation calibration.
The benefits of automatic calibration include:
Eliminate user intervention (replaced by automated internal systems)
A and J frames are not affected by changes in atmospheric pressure during operation, and regular pressure drop and ventilation calibration is crucial to eliminate errors
The weight scale may drift slightly during running, so the automatic calibration of the X-frame can give you peace of mind
Cerulean plans to implement automatic calibration for most shelf variants in the future.
