Cerulean is pleased to announce the launch of the newly improved Orbit 20 rotary smoking machine, designed for optimal performance in tobacco heating product (THP) applications.
This new 20 port semi-automatic rotating machine is equipped with an innovative sealed smoke ring, creating a conical channel for increased particle or aerosol capture; Significantly reduced the dead volume during the experimental process.
The new Orbit 20 complies with the ISO 3308 standard and can also be used with methods 4387, 8454, 20779, and other reference procedures.
Other exciting features include an automatic lighting system, innovative airflow design, camera terminals, and button activation, making the Orbit 20 suitable for a wide range of testing applications.
The new Orbit 20 is designed for 92mm or standalone 44mm filter pads, but can also be used with alternative smoke capture systems such as impact scrubbers and electrostatic precipitators.
This rotary smoking machine can be easily cleaned without disassembling the rotating ring to avoid cross contamination between operations.
The flexibility of Orbit 20 means it can also be used with traditional cigarettes as well as flow activated and button activated e-cigarettes.
